Stay in Pointy Cabin
Set in the grounds of The Flete Estate you are surrounded by nature in our luxury holiday rental cabin that offers you the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Location isn’t the only special element here at Rusty Sheds, both cabin’s have been designed and curated down to the last detail. Pointy has a beautifully crafted bespoke English ash louvre ceiling and mezzanine ladder which makes the cabin smell divine.
You’ll find a spot to relax or read by the last picture window overlooking a beautiful view. There is plenty of space to sit by the wood burner with a cuppa and play a game of dominos. Step outside onto the terrace with trestle table and benches, and discover both an outdoor shower and wood fired bath.
Walk into the woodland and you’ll find two hammocks beneath the trees. If you’re lucky you might just spot a deer.
The cabin offers plenty of room, sleeping up to four people and we welcome your dog too. For larger family groups why not hire Curvy cabin aswell.

Try the comfy queen size in our cabin bed-nook with views across the fields, or climb the cute handcrafted ladder up to the mezzanine, each with luxurious bedlinen and the comfiest mattresses.
You’ll be sleeping like a log after all that fresh air and nature.
Experience Cabin Life
The cabin is handcrafted by Life Space Cabins with every detail thought through. With a cosy log burner, bespoke carpentry and hand woven recyled blankets from local company Weaver Green you’ll fall in love with cabin life.
The small but beautifully formed kitchen is well equipped whilst the bathroom has a generous walk-in shower with Land & Water toiletries giving you a hotel experience in a nature.
A Warm Welcome
Each guest is welcomed with seasonal flowers picked from the Flete estate gardens as well as a welcome pack giving you everything you need to enjoy your first cuppa and treat there.
You’ll find logs for the wood burner and outdoor bath tub so all you have to do is strike the match and settle in.
We also offer breakfast hampers, BBQ hamper or a cheese and wine hamper all sourced from local suppliers and growers.
Private Beach and Victorian Teahouse
Experience this unspoilt part of Devon by visiting Pamflete beach, the estate’s own private beach. Just a 5 min walk from the cabin you’ll find yourself on the white sand at this very special spot.
On route to the beach you’ll spy a cute slate-hung building. The Victorian teahouse has recently been lovingy restored and is available to hire for you to experience tea by the sea, a place to paint or cook supper on its woodburning cooker.
Paddle Boards and Bird Bingo
We’ve equipped the cabins with everything you need to enjoy your time with us.
Two paddle boards (with life jackets) can be enjoyed straight from the beaches below. If you’re more of a land lover then make use of our books and board games or pick up our binoculars to spot a buzzard soaring high or a hare hopping past.
Outside Wood-Fired Bath and Hot Shower
Outdoor bathing is a must at Rusty Sheds. Where else can you wallow in a steaming bath and watch the sea mist roll in up the estuary or lie back star gazing into the night whilst owls hoot amongst the trees beyond?
The copper outside shower provides a welcome warm-up after any wild swimming adventure.
